Ten years ago, my husband and I began the process of getting architectural plans completed so that we could build our dream home. The house that we live in is the house that my parents and her siblings were raised in, the house I was raised in, and now, the house where my husband and I are raising our children, so it was important to me for our home to stay our home always. After many doors closing in our faces and immense frustration, about a year ago, we met Scott and the staff of East Coast Dormer. From the minute we walked into their offices, we felt like we were a part of a family! Scott understood our needs and over time, including this awful year with the pandemic, Scott and his staff have worked tirelessly to make our dream a reality. They truly listened to us, gave us fantastic design tips, and guided us through the process so that we understood every single thing that was happening every step of the way. There has been nothing but professionalism, honesty, and the feeling that we were the most important clients at all times. Our three modular sections were delivered last night and we are over the moon excited to watch this all come together this Saturday! Stay tuned! And there is absolutely no reason to choose any other contractor or modular company. East Coast Dormer is simply the best around!

I highly recommend East Coast Dormer Company. Scott and his staff are professional people. Scott does everything for you. He does the drawings (plans), and the permit process very fast. My husband and I are very happy with the job Scott did. It has been 4 years since they did the beautiful dormer. I noticed a few days ago that our daughter's room was colder than our room. We called Scott and told him about what was going on. He came immediately, found the problem and fixed it. It is hard to find a company you can trust. Thank you Scott for the beautiful job you did!!.
Scott and his staff were nothing less than professional during this whole project. The quality of the materials and workmanship were outstanding. I have no reservations recommending Scott for your project. My home was transformed from average to outstanding within a reasonable amount of time. It's a tough choice when making major home improvements. Do your homework and having said that. ECD was a very well run operation, schedule adhered to, great quality results. Scott the owner is the main point of contact who walks you through the whole process. Depending on your budget you can go with what works for you. Scott honors his warranty and has even come out to follow up on items past the stated period. Glad we chose him as he cares about his craft and his customers. Easy to work with a contractor you can have peace of mind with.
I highly recommend East Coast Dormer. I was unfortunate to get flooded by Hurricane Irene in 2011 and then Sandy in 2012. After years of dealing with the Insurance company and NY Rising and then being scammed from the original hired contractor of 50,000.00, I was very nervous that I would not find a reliable and trustworthy contractor, yet alone that would take on the job being funded by the insurance company and NY Rising where we would have to wait for the money to be disbursed by them in increments. Scott and the staff at East Coast Dormer was very helpful and everything went smoothly as planned. They worked with us from beginning to end and kept on top of everything! I'm so grateful I found such a great company/family to work with, and in the end have a beautiful home to live in and made a few new friends along the way! Thank you Scott, Darci and Staff!
